Antonietta Collins

Antonietta Tonite Gonzalez-Collins is an American-Mexican sportscaster. She works for ESPN and works as a SportsCenter anchor for news. In 2016, she joined ESPN. Her mother is Maria Antonieta Collins, a television reporter. Antonietta Collins is bilingual and has been for a long time, starting at the age of nine. This skill has helped her get her first job with Univision, Miami. She worked with national producers on programs such as Nuestra Belleza Latina Premios Lo Nuestro Premios Juventud Primer Impacto. In 2009, the CBS affiliate in St. Petersburg hired her following this to become an sports reporter. Then, in 2009 the news reporter moved from St. Petersburg to Rio Grande Valley Texas where she was employed by KNVO TV 48 Univision as in addition to Fox2 News. In 2009 she made the move to Rio Grande Valley in Texas, where she became a journalist for KNVO 48 Univision and Fox2 News. In addition, she was an anchor for sports anchors and weather forecasters. She was then the anchor and reporter for Univision Dallas' Deportes 23. The station then gave her greater responsibilities. The family moved to Mexico City, where Antonietta Collins was born in November 1985. There is also a younger sibling. Her family relocated from Mexico to Miami in 1992 after leaving Mexico. The couple divorced within a short time and in the year 1995, she got married to a naval architect named Fabio Fajardo. Fabio Fajardo died in 2006 of kidney cancer. The summer vacation that she stayed with her sibling in Canton Ohio where the older Collins girl was offered a job. Antonietta who was in high school with an idea of what she wanted her future to be, visited Mount Union University to determine what she could get out of the college. It was a beautiful campus and provided the education she wanted. Following the completion of her high school education she attended the university to study media studies. The professor she had was Mark Bergmann, who managed WRMU FM and was part of her class, developed a lasting relationship with the student. The passion he had for journalism as well as her self-confidence instilled confidence in her. She, in turn, tried to meet his expectations and never fail him.
